Often, it is difficult to find a doctor in your area who treats thyroid
symptoms. It can be even more difficult to locate such a doctor who
provides a balanced approach with natural treatment options for the
treatment of hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Graves' disease, and
Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
Many of our patients with thyroid problems travel distances to be
evaluated and treated. Fortunately, technology allows us to easily
follow-up with these patients when they return home or travel via
Skype and e-mail.
Telemedicine brings health care for hypothyroidism to everyone with a computer or smartphone. So if you live in an area that makes it difficult to travel to Tampa regularly, you can still receive care from Dr. Lanzisera.
After your initial in-office examination, Dr. Lanzisera will make his best treatment recommendations for you. It is at this time, after Dr. Lanzisera accepts your case, that you can discuss with him your treatment plan. He can adapt your plan to include telemedicine-visits. Some patients like to Skype with Dr. Lanzisera and some prefer e-mail correspondence or a combination of both.
Telemedicine-visits are a practical and effective way to receive optimal health care. If you have a question for Dr. Lanzisera, he can answer you via email usually that same day. Skype visits require a scheduled time. Our office considers doctor accessibility a high priority.
